Journal Entry 1 Part 2

 

 

    Hello it's me again and today I will tell you about my second item of my choice for my first journal entry. The picture above is my second item I chose, its a family portrait of my family. The picture was taken on July 14, 2019, the day before my mother's birthday and the family photo was actually a birthday gift for my mother. The picture was taken in a mall after we went to church, we taken more than 3 photos because my mother want more memories to cherish. Every time I look at this picture, it reminds me to cherish my family because you wouldn't know what would happen to them and family is important. So the picture is part of my personal history because it has my people that I love and live with my whole life.

This talk of family had me realized something, In the military soldiers interacts and bond with other soldiers and later they consider themselves family. Each soldier treats the other like their family because they are the military together and fight side by side together. If one soldier die, the other will be depressed and heartbroken because they get along so well and consider themselves family. In my family, my parents are awfully protective of my because they know what's been going on in the world for a long time and want to protect me from it. This description maybe inaccurate but I hope you'll understand were I'm going with it. At first I was confused on what I should write about because I'm no historian and I don't know much about history but then I realized there are most things that are related to history and I should look back on their origins like a historian.

I can honestly say that it's hard to interpret this photo with history because it's just a picture of my whole family and it doesn't show any historical connection.
